The Muppets

I never liked the Muppets much growing up and funnily enough I found Fozzie Bear to be the most annoying. Followed closely by Gonzo.
I'll try and draw my favourite Muppet next week , but in the mean time here's my piece for this week for the Bear and the Buffalo!

How Old Is She?

This happened to me a few months ago while I was on the phone to a cable company. The last panel may be a little exaggerated though ; ) I did get off the phone with whoever was on the other end of the line still convinced I had a baby no matter what I tried to say. And just so you know, I hate when people talk 'baby talk' to their pets (& children) I seem to be quite flexible with allowing myself to do it when the occasion presents itself though.

Angry Birds

So I had a little Angry Birds obsession that last a month or two eariler this year where I would find myself playing the game in bed at 2AM, on the toilet, in shopping lines-wherever I could appease my fix. Alas, once I finished the game I found my appettite went back to more mundae things-like white Freddo Frogs and pink iced donuts.
Nevertheless when I heard it was bird week over at the Bear and the Buffalo I knew what kind of bird(s) I wanted to draw.

The Karate Kid

One of my favourite movies from the 1980's and of all time. If you never had a crush on Elisabeth Shue or tried to bounce a soccer ball from knee to knee, well you never really appreciated this movie (or the 1980's)

Loo Love

So I can overlook the overpowering soapy smell covering many people's messes, the elevator music mixed with some kid screaming that is echoing and bouncing off these grimy walls & hey, I can even pretend not to notice your skid stains gazing up at me steadily from the toilet bowl, but please, please don't have your private conversation as you sit next to me on the toilet.

Gremlins

I used to be obsessed with Gizmo, and probably still am. I went as far as checking for one hiding in my cupboard after I saw the film at the cinema as a kid & was severely disappointed when there was none.
Oh and this was drawn for 80's movies week over at The Bear & the Buffalo!
