Jarka Gajdosova

I've always been a fan of the tennis but have found in recent years the players seem to lack or hide their personalities. This is not the case with Australian player Jarmila 'Jarka' Gajdosova who is both a great player & also has a playful side to her personality which she is more than willing to show. I haven't drawn a caricature for awhile, but through last night's Wimbldon rain delay, I decided to sketch this up.

Beetlejuice

So my friend Alfredo Caceres suggested that we do a Time Burton jam some time ago & we decided upon Beetlejuice. I am really late with my submission & the final was a bit rushed, but I promise to do better next time!

Pens I Like to Use

A few people have asked me recently what pens I use to ink with. The main pen I use is a Faber Castell Pitt brush pen which helps me with definition and thick/thin lines. The second is the Artline 210 which I use to block in colour and to help me with the steadier lines. And I always use the Uni Pin fineliner pens, ranging from 02all the way up to 08 for my more finer lines.

I've been visiting my local pet shop lately as I've fallen in love with a Scottish Fold kitten up there. I realised this was becoming a problem when I was standing there mesmerised for several minutes as he was digging around in his litter & stumbling over his own poo. That and also the fact that I'd befriended two people in the last few days since I was spending so much time there, both aged over 60.
