Sir Louis

I wanted to try some copic/marker paper that I bought awhile ago & hadn't yet used. It came out okay, the markers didn't tend to bleed like they easily can on 'normal' paper.
Anyway, this is a portrait of my cat Louis, also known as 'Sir Bog a Lot.' I've never known a cat to fluff as much as he does!
Copics, brush pens & a dash of pencil.

There Goes Totoro

I can't believe it took until a few weeks ago to sit and watch 'My neighbour Totoro' But it did. And I loved it.
I also can't believe I have ripped off my last piece of art's background. But I did.
Brush pens, copic markers and a dash of pencil.

Fred and Pebbles Flinstone

I saw the Flinstones header on Google yesterday, celebrating it's 50th anniversary, so I was inspired to do some overdue Flinstones fan artwork.
To be honest the thing I liked most about the cartoon as a kid was all the crazy inventions the family got the stone age animals to do, plus the near perfect introduction (Willmer!!), and as I've got older I've appreciated their character designs, along with the other Hana Barbara characters too.
I have a couple more of the Flinstones gang I will be posting over the next week or so too.
So, belated Happy 50th Anniversary to The Flinstones!
